Anime swords are one of the largest collectables for anime in the world. Most animes consist of some kind of hero with a sword that looks awesome. They are normally skilled at using them and they play a critical role in both knowing the character and progressing the story line. Some swords are holy and must be captured before evil while others used them to commit evil and must now rectify what they have done in the past - like in Rurioni Kenshen. Swords can even help viewers know the characters, for example the large two handed sword used by Cloud with the wraps around it. While still made of steel and can be used as a sword many can not withstand normal use as a weapon and should only be used for collection purposes. This sword is made of steel but is unsharpened. Videogame lovers would prefer this sword to most others. Even if you never played or liked the Zelda games I have to say the sword is awesome nonetheless.
